2026 Vibe Vanity- Begins

While spending time doing Freelance work for Slate It Media I met Apurav 'OHPIE' Maggu. At the time he was the camera man for Slate It Media. As December approached we discussed our personal visions and growth within our primary work. His is photography and mine is Vibe-A-Licious.

We realised we had a lot of over lapping things we wanted to do and partnering up would mutually benefit us with a better product to show our work. With the difficulties of not making income, it was decided to sublease the studios and bring Vibe-A-Licious to my home salon space. Vibe-A-Licious was now just Zeba and Myself and I had two stations to work from at my home.

Ophal set up a photography space in my home studio and we began to explore our editorial visions with models, capturing recordings of my work. We came up with a system to improve both our social media presence and then had a discussion to start our own Media production company. Vibe-a-licious would still provide salon services to clients, we would do editorial shoots and then begin the journey of establishing our own indie film company. We both loved working in the film and television field, but wanted to do it our own way. And we wanted to ensure everything we did generated an income for ourselves and others we knew could work in this industry but were struggling to find jobs.

We are starting this new year by doing online makeup and hair tutorials for the every day person. Putting together vertical programming for social media about life in a salon. We have started creating teaching workshops for those that want to learn to improve their photography skills and hair and makeup skills. Scripts are bring written for childrens programs, documentaries and feature productions. We have asked other people we have worked with in the past that we wish to continue working with to join our team to do Sound, Lighting, Editing, Props and Set Assistants.

The hair and makeup team at vibe-a-licious will continue to be the hair and makeup team on sets as well as taking on students and beginners to give them opportunity to learn and also grow their portfolios. This is the pivot for 2026, let's see where this road leads!
